Improvisations were processed and effected in the act of performance using what we like to call "the apparatus," and committed directly to stereo cassette. They were recorded at our apartment in February and March of 2017, excluding tracks 3 and 7, which were recorded at Hayden's spot at Warren Wilson College and at Daniel and Calvin’s house in Dayton, OH.

Inspired by Sunday nights at the Hungry Brain, the Midwest, deteriorating industrial America, and the relationship between the land and the experiences/hopes/memories of people in the past.

Thanks to our friends in Bucks County, Daniel+Calvin, Hayden, Jess, the Litterbox, Tim Barnes for hosting us, and to Ben Pierce, Ben Turner, and Gabriel for crucial advice.
